And people still sit out in the weather in the winter time? I find that amazing. People don't do that here partly because the restaurant owners close down the outside portions of their establishments. I like this photo in black and white too. It looks colder than any warm color in a colored photo.
I'm crazy about B/W photography, though I really don't know how to do it. In this case, it didn't make me think "cold" it made me think "old". The scene could easily be from another time and so, seems timeless.

In Melbourne some people choose to eat outdoors even when it is cold because it is the only place where they can smoke.
