Flinders Lane has changed so much since I worked there in the mid-80s. Back then it was still "real", full of rag trade businesses with few shops. I went back recently and, while it's nice and there's lots to do, it wasn't the same. The building I worked in (a fashion house) is now expensive apartments. Wonder if they replaced the rickety elevator?
