You would get some flak in my city for putting such a provocative, nourishing angel of death along the sidewalk. St. Louis is diverse but we still have a large element that gets upset about such things. I quite like the sculpture but I might find it disquieting while on my daily business.
Not sure what I think about the bright mirror over the pedestrian's low back. It distracts the eye from the statue but does serve as an exclamation point.
