It's very unusual...and I do love black and white. Cheers to you in this new year.

Happy New Year Michael, best wishes for a prosperous 2009. Don't the years just fly by?

Very, very good work. I really like the way you play off the angles of the pavement, buildings and unusual diagonal posts. That last detail takes an interesting photo and makes it excellent.

Good choice for best of the year. I like the play on the angles.

Happy New Year!!

Unusual angle really higlights those shadows and the light. Excellent choice. Happy new Year

Love the angles; the absence of horizontal lines.

Wow! The angles, composition, contract, the business make for true eye candy. Great shot!

Yeah, great shot. Very sharp. Slightly surreal atmosphere.

Love the image, a bit 'apocalyptic' in my view but it gets the thoughts flowing of what the future may hold for us if we ignore our global responsibilities... sorry for the rant.

That is an amazing picture. I have not started playing with images like this, but it shows how one photographer could just take an average shot, but you with a few creative twists can make a potentially boring photo look great. I really like it!

If anyone wants to check out a few of my shots I am living in melbourne for the next few months. I just set up a blog of my own for my photography. I could use a few followers :P Here is my blog

Reminds me of "Metropolis" the movie, can see why it was selected as such.
