Must one of the few left in Melbourne that has not had the screen scratched. Someone threw a brick through one at Brunswick Station.

Just read Peter's comment: how very sad!

This is like the Oyster system in London. Such a good idea, but I guess that is just my opinion. The method we have (and you have in Melbourne) for paying for motorways is good too.

I dont think NSW will have a myki for a while yet. We have to find where we have misplaced our public transport system first!!

I don't get it, why are people so opposed to this system? It's fast, easy,... I love it, we recently had it introduced in Zagreb and some other towns in Croatia. It also seems other people here don't feel like destroying the machines. The machines are all in working order and not scratched. We can also send text message to pay our tram/bus ticket and also parking... very convenient! I'm enjoying the benefits of living in this day and age :)
