Rain or ice? It looks like the photo was taken through ice but is most likely rain. Interesting post for theme day.

it never surprises me that your photographs outdo us all! Your photography is absolutely superb. I adore this. I wouldn't mind knowing tho what NGV stands for. National....something or other?

I love the abstract quality of the scene.

This is a really captivating shot. It reminds me of impressionist paintings, hehe :)

Like a scene from the movie "Red Balloon". Lovely.

Watercolour - that was the first thought and I agree with Clare's impression about impressionists!

This looks like it was shot through that really thick 1950s glass. So, was it raining outside?

It definitely has a surreal quality. Is the NGV a tarin. It looks like a station outside.

Very interesting photo ... did you use photo shop or did all the effect come from the water on the glass ... also, it appears sunny,,, was the window being washed ... happy theme day.

In the thumbnail it looked like a winter scene but now I see it is the water wall at the Victorian Art Gallery. Very interesting shot well captured.

I remember this place. My itchy fingers always touch the water at the glass :-)
